2025….let’s go!

As we step into 2025, the excitement at Sowing Seeds Farm and Florals is palpable! This year, our garden is set to grow bigger and bolder, introducing new varieties that will surely delight. Even though winter has cloaked the fields in a blanket of snow, our farm remains alive with activity and learning. We're thrilled to offer subscriptions for our second season, whether you choose a 4-wk spring or 6-wk summer. The peony field is nestled in hibernation, promising beauty when the sun returns. We encourage you to check back on our website and social media for updates and posts that will showcase our journey. If you have a special event in mind this year, we'd love to collaborate—don’t hesitate to fill out the form on our CONTACT page! As we reflect on the success of our inaugural year in 2024, we pray that 2025 brings new opportunities to bless others. In just a few weeks, we’ll be starting our seeds to prepare plugs for spring planting, and our low tunnels are ready, standing strong against the winter's first snow and wind storm—fingers crossed our plants are thriving inside! We look forward to surprises this spring with new blooms of tulips and daffodils that we didn’t have last year. Meanwhile, our chickens are taking their time adjusting to the snow, staying cozy in their run but thankfully still laying their delicious eggs. Though sales for our wood have slowed, Jacob is diligently keeping stock ready for when demand rises again. While winter may not demand much physical labor, the mental preparations for our busy season are in full swing, and soon it will be time to finalize our garden plan and select the seeds we want to plant this season. Thank you for being part of our journey; let us know how we can help you get connected with our farm!
